Amazon SPAPI Changes - Live Workflow Deprecation and more
Beginning December 31st, 2022, Amazon is requiring that all 3rd-party tools migrate to their new Selling Partner API. Currently, the Inbound Shipping API drastically reduces the function of updating shipments in working status. We will no longer be able to add additional MSKUs to existing shipments.

In order to properly prepare for this, we will be required to make changes to or remove existing features before December 2022. We will announce an official sunset date once we are certain that this decision is final. Amazon has stated these changes were made to prevent adding additional items to shipments without planning. We believe these changes will increase inbound shipping costs and disrupt user workflows without achieving these stated goals, and we have reached out to Amazon to request that these changes be reviewed and reconsidered. Unfortunately, this decision has not yet been reversed. While we will continue to keep in contact with their team, we want to provide this information well in advance before these features are removed. We’ll also provide a final update before then. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the limitations of the Selling Partner API, you may contact Amazon’s Seller Support SPAPI team. If you would like more information on how this will affect your InventoryLab workflow, feel free to open a support ticket with us. |
