    Hi Erv!

As a general rule, you can move items around within Amazon limits of 5% or 6 items, whichever is greater as long as you have Box Contents on for the batch the shipments were created from. But the item would have to already be in the shipment going to DTW for you to adjust the quantity. If so, you can edit the shipment following the instructions in this article:

    Edit Box Content

If you have already created shipments, you cannot add items to the shipment unless you use our Add to Existing Shipment option for batches that are created later:

    Add to Existing Shipments Article

If you want us to take a look at your particular situation, open a ticket in Support and we can look at your account specifically and provide guidance for you. You can open a ticket right from the desktop application by clicking on the Support tab in the upper menu.

In the Profit & Loss Report what is the meaning of the cost of goods sold? Is it  my purchase price?

In the Inventory Reports the terms ACTIVE and INBOUND are used. What is the meaning and/or distinction between the two?

    Hello Dick!

The COGS line on your Profit and Loss Report represents the cost of items sold within that time frame (including any adjustments for Reimbursements, Refunds, Removals, ETC). Active inventory will reflect inventory that is currently available for Sale within Amazon, while Inbound Inventory refers to inventory that is currently on its way to Amazon's warehouse (and not yet available for sale). I hope this helps, but feel free to open a ticket with our Support if you have additional questions we can answer. :)
