API shipment old flow

    Hey there Yulia!

Amazon has recently changed the way their workflow set up is run and the actions that can be completed by selecting your specific workflow.

Unfortunately, Amazon has removed the ability for users to utilize the Old Workflow and have instead replaced this option with something called "Keep as API". What this does, is keep your shipment as an API shipment where you can still make adjustments to quantities and information within the shipment. By selecting this option, you'll be taken back to your shipping queue to avoid converting the shipment too early.

Once you are 100% ready to send your shipment, you would select the option "Convert to Send to Amazon" as no changes can be made to the shipment once this is done.

This will convert your shipment where you will then be able to confirm your shipping and print your shipping labels.

I hope this helps but if you need us to look at your account specifically, please don't hesitate to open a support ticket. :)

    Hello,

I'm sending my shipment as LTL and when I "convert to send to Amazon", it wants me to input box weight and box sizes. Box size is not needed since this is an LTL shipment. Is there anyway around inputting this information?

    Hey there Joey!

Even if you are submitting an LTL shipment, any boxes that are sent to Amazon require the box content information as failure to provide accurate box content information may lead to blocking of future shipments, and a manual processing fee will be applied.

Additionally, Each box and pallet you ship to an Amazon fulfillment center, including one or more units sent in a manufacturer box, must be properly identified with a unique box ID (see example below) and pallet label.

For more information on the requirements for your boxes, you can reach out to Seller Central.

Also, if you have any specific questions for your account, please don't hesitate to open a support ticket and we'll be more than happy to research the issue at hand! :)

It's been a while since my last shipment through IL, but this time I was able to pay for and download shipping labels right within Inventory Labs. This is new to me.  On seller central I now see the optioins to "Keep as API shipment" or "convert to Send to Amazon". In the past I chose the latter and then paid and printed labels.

What do I do now, that I already paid for shipping labels in IL?  Do I still "Convert to Send to Amazon" and then have to pay for the labels again?

Hey Daniel! I apologize for the confusion! The new workflow options allow you to complete your entire shipment within InventoryLab, no need to go to Seller Central at all! You can leave them as they are, but if you need to make a selection for any reason, you'd want to select "Keep as API Shipment". With the new workflow, once you have your box contents provided (if applicable) and your shipping labels, you can simply then just send your boxes in! Hope this helps!
