2D barcodes
IL sends the product feed directly into Amazon which is "better".
However, from my understanding Amazon checks in 2D barcode boxes much faster than regular barcode boxes.
A regular barcode box will be opened at the transfer center, and each individual item scanned before rerouting to the final FC.
A 2D barcode box will be scanned AS A BOX, and if it can be rerouted without opening, they will not pull out the product, which means a much faster check-in time.
Multiple people have told me about this. Have you heard similar?
If so, what would it take for IL to *both* send box content feed *and* provide us with 2D barcodes for the boxes?
Is this possible?

Hi Ramon!
Thank you for the information, and we are looking into the 2D option so I've added your comment to that case with the developers. Currently, when we send Box Contents Feed, it grays out the option to provide a 2D barcode in Seller Central but I do believe that is how 2D checkin does work. As far as if we can also send the box contents feed I'll have to see if the developers can do something like that. Hey there Michael!
I'm sorry you're having issues with the warehouses checking your items in as I understand how frustrating that is.
We are currently researching 2d barcodes to determine if they are a viable option for our roadmap. As soon as we have more information or updates we will be sure to provide those to all users.
Stay tuned!
