Issue: Labels are not printing correctly
Cause: Reloading or switching between different label types without rerunning the level identification steps may cause labels not to print correctly.
Solution: Confirm the label type and re-run the automatic label identification with your Rollo printer to make sure it's reading the right label.
If your labels don't appear to be printing correctly, or you're getting blank labels in between, check to make sure the correct label type is selected in your Stratify print settings.
A list of supported label types can be found here- Set Up a Rollo Printer Using IL Print
For Windows, make sure you have set up a Rollo custom label to match the label preference you chose in Stratify- Create New Custom Size Labels
If that is not the issue, try re-running the automatic label identification with your Rollo printer to make sure it's reading the right label type by following these steps:
- Unplug the printer USB from your computer.
- Hold down that circle button on the printer until you hear a beep. It should go back and forth as it tries to learn your label.
- Once done, plug the printer back into your computer. Check to make sure it is showing as online and ready to print.
- Try to print a label from Stratify once more.
Steps to re-run the automatic label identification and a video showing this process can be found in this Rollo article.
If you find your labels are not printing clearly, are too dark, or too light, Rollo created a high-resolution driver which performs a series of file enhancements to improve the label clarity.
To install and use the high-resolution driver, see this support article from Rollo with detailed instructions:
