There may be a time when you want to edit your replenishment accounting information in bulk, such as cost/unit, purchase date, or supplier for multiple inventory items at once. Now, you can edit this information in bulk all on one screen!
IN THIS GUIDE:
Adding Items to Bulk Edit
When updating your accounting information, a Live Draft will be created. Here, you can see if other users with sub-accounts are also simultaneously making changes in the draft, what changes they have made, and when the changes were made. You can also save the live draft without making changes, and pick up where you left off at a later time. Only one Live Draft can exist at a time.
To begin, navigate to Inventory>FBA or Merchant.
You can also go to Inventory>Overview and select either your FBA or Merchant inventory from there.
First, select which Inventory Channel you wish to edit, then search for the items you wish to update in bulk by entering the title, MSKU, ASIN, or any tags you have attached to your inventory items.
Then, select the rows you wish to edit in bulk by clicking the checkboxes or selecting the box at the top to select ALL rows.
Click the Bulk Edit button at the bottom of your screen.
Live Draft Overview
You will be redirected to a Live Draft where changes can be made to replenishment account information. The items will display in descending order by title. You will see the following columns:
- Item - This displays the item image, title, MSKU, ASIN, and condition
-
Replenishments - This will let you know if the area you are changing is the Initial Purchase or a Replenishment at the time it was added to the bulk edit.
Note: The order of the replenishment changes in FIFO order based on Date Purchased. If you change around dates, the lines will resort once you finalize the draft.
- Cost/Unit - This is the buy cost of the replenishment row.
- Supplier - The supplier of the replenishment row.
- Date Purchased - The date of purchase for the replenishment row.
- Purchased - This is the quantity purchased for the replenishment row.
As you make your changes, your edits will be noted in the top right-hand corner of who and when the last change was made to the live draft:
Collaborators
If another person enters the draft, they will be noted as a collaborator at the top:
There is no limit as to how many people can enter a live draft. You can see who is editing something as the area will highlight the collaborator's color:
Adding a Row
To add a replenishment row to an MSKU, click the + button next to the row. It will add a replenishment right below the row.
You can also click the 3 stacked dots to the left and select Add Replenishment. This will add a row at the end of the MSKU.
Deleting a Row
If you need to delete a row, just click the trash can icon next to it.
Pasting into Rows
You can paste into multiple rows directly from a spreadsheet. Just click and drag within the appropriate areas in your spreadsheet and copy.
In Bulk Edit, click and drag the rows you want to fill in and paste:
Resetting MSKU Changes
Made a mistake? You can reset an MSKU back to how it was when you added it to the draft. Just click the 3 stacked dots and choose Reset MSKU. All changes for that MSKU will revert.
Removing an Item From the Draft
If you want to remove an item from the draft so that no changes can be made to it, click the 3 stacked dots and choose Remove from Draft.
Adding More Items to the Draft
If you would like to add more items to your live draft, click Leave Live Draft. You will be brought back to your inventory page of the fulfillment channel you were working in while also saving the changes you have already made in your draft.
Select the items you wish to add to your bulk edit draft and click Add to Live Draft.
Finishing Draft Options
Once you're finished making your changes, you can either select Leave Live Draft, Cancel Draft or Finalize Draft.
Leave Live Draft
Selecting Leave Live Draft allows you to save and access your bulk edit draft again if needed without finalizing the changes. This can be accessed again on your inventory page by clicking the 3 stacked dots and selecting Enter Live Draft.
Cancel Draft
Clicking Cancel Draft will discard all changes made in the Live Draft. You will be prompted to confirm you want to cancel your draft before closing it.
Finalize Draft
If you're ready to make your changes, click Finalize Draft. A pop-up will appear with a summary of the changes made and the option to either Cancel or Apply Updates.
Please wait a few moments for your changes to be processed.
