Creating custom shortcuts allows you to search by ASIN on a website of your choice with the click of a button in both InventoryLab and Scoutify. Currently, up to two shortcuts can be set up at a time.

Manage Custom Research Shortcuts
1. Click your Account Name
2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
3. Click General from the left menu.
5. Scroll to the Custom Research Shortcuts section.
Adding Custom Research Shortcuts
1. Enter an URL to use for the button.
- Any site that uses ASINs can be used for this URL.
- To find the URL, open the desired website in a new tab in your browser and search by ASIN
2. Copy the full URL (including the ASIN)
3. Go back to the Settings>General page in InventoryLab
4. Paste the URL into one of the URL fields in the Custom Research Shortcut modal.
5. Enter a Display Name (which will appear when hovering over the shortcut button in InventoryLab and as the Scoutify Research option), and Icon Text (up to two letters)
6. Choose if you want these links available within List & Prep, Scout, Scoutify, or all three, by clicking the toggles next to them.
7. Click Create.
- When turned on to show in List and/or Scout, click the custom buttons to search for any ASIN on your chosen website!
- Click the pencil icon in Scout pages to manage your shortcuts as needed.
Custom Research Shortcuts in Scoutify
- When turned on to show in Scoutify, your shortcuts will be displayed at the bottom of the options when tapping Research.
- In Scouify, shortcuts can be managed under Settings>Enhancements>Custom ASIN Shortcuts.
