Up to 16 tags can be added per item within your Unlisted Inventory. How you use these tags is up to you, but some uses could include:
- Tracking Seasonal items
- Who Sourced the item
- Supplier information
- The channel it will be sold on
- Size/Color Variation
- Product Location
*Please keep in mind that these tags are currently only available within the Unlisted Inventory report and will not be included within other areas of InventoryLab at this time!
Adding Tags while entering Unlisted Inventory:
To do this click the "Add Item" option at the bottom of your screen and Search for the item within the Amazon Catalog or select to Manually enter the item details.
Once you have selected the item you wish to add, begin typing your tag, you will see that a hashtag is automatically added in front of the tag, to continue adding additional tags click your enter key or add a space to quickly enter up to 16 tags.
If you enter a tag by mistake, click the X option next to the tag, or the backspace key on your keyboard in order to delete it from your listing.
*Each tag can contain up to 16 characters and can not include spaces. If you attempt to add more than 16 you will receive an error message.*
Adding/Removing tags for an existing item:
To add or remove tags for items already in your Unlisted Inventory, click on the edit icon next to your tag list.
This will bring up a new window where you will see the option to type additional tags or click the X to remove existing tags for your item. When you are finished with these changes, click on the "Save Updates" button to complete the change.
