Creating custom shortcuts allows you to search by ASIN on a website of your choice with the click of a button in Stratify and Scoutify.
To create one, open the desired website in a new tab and search by ASIN*
*Avoid searching for books (ISBNs) on this step
Copy the full URL (including the ASIN) and go back to the Custom ASIN Shortcuts page
Paste the URL into the URL field in Stratify
Enter a Display Name (which will appear when hovering over the shortcut button in Stratify and as the Scoutify Research option), Icon Text (up to two letters), and choose if you want these links within List & Prep, Scout, Scoutify, or all three
Now, when listing, scouting, or researching in Scout, you’ll be able to click your buttons to search for any ASIN on your chosen website.
You can have two Custom ASIN Shortcuts, which can be Edited or Removed at any time. If you make any changes to one, click Save to ensure they stick. Or, to remove one, click Delete
You can also set up these links in Scoutify. Navigate to Settings > Custom ASIN Shortcuts, and enter in your link information:
Turn on visibility for your desired areas, and click Save Changes.
Your shortcuts will display immediately in your chosen research areas.
