If you find that you cannot print labels using your DYMO with the Standard Print Setup, or the Print Setup is not reading your DYMO at all, it may be due to your small DYMO web-service icon not being in your system tray.
When you right-click this icon, you'll see the following options:
If your software is installed correctly, you should be able to easily bring this icon up without having to reboot your computer or reinstall your drivers.
Windows
The DYMO web-service icon should be visible in your system tray, which can be found on the right side of your Windows Taskbar. If you see an option to Diagnose after clicking it, this confirms it is the correct icon.
If you can't find it there, and you don't see it when clicking that small arrow, you can use your Start Menu search to find it. Just search for "DYMO Webservice" and click on the program when it appears.
If you're not able to get to it there, open your system folder and follow the path:
Windows (C:) > Program Files (x86) > DYMO > DYMO Label Software
Then double click the file "DYMO.DLS.Printing.Host"
Your icon should appear in your system tray within seconds.
Mac
On a Mac, the DYMO web-service icon should be visible in the menu bar that runs along the top of the screen. If you see an option to Diagnose after clicking it, this confirms it is the correct icon.
If it is not there, take the below steps:
1. Select your Hard Drive to appear on your desktop.
If you don't see your Hard Drive on your desktop, click Finder>Preference to get to your Finder Preferences. Check "Hard disks":
2. Click "Macintosh HD" on your desktop.
3. From there, navigate to Library>Frameworks>DYMO>SDK and click "DYMO.DLS.Printing.Host"
Once you open that, your icon should appear in your top menu bar in seconds.
