Amazon has added an "Error" message to the Prepare Shipments page in Seller Central to warn about box content information sent through Amazon's MWS (Marketplace Web Services). The MWS API is the system third parties, like us, use to communicate with Amazon.
You have chosen to provide box content information through Amazon Marketplace Web Services feeds API. Please upload box content information via _POST_FBA_INBOUND_CARTON_CONTENTS_. If you prefer to provide box content information in Seller Central, set IntendedBoxContentsSource to a value other than FEED.
This error message is indicative of if your box content feed has been sent successfully from Stratify or not. If you're seeing this message, there could be a couple of different reasons why.
1. Box Content has not been completed and sent to Seller Central yet.
Turning the Box Content feature to On for batches in Stratify alerts Amazon that you intend to send your box-level content information over to them in something called a feed. At that time, Amazon's systems select Multiple boxes and Amazon Marketplace Web Services automatically and turn off the ability to alter them.
This is because they assume you are sending multiple boxes (since box level detail is not needed on single box shipments) and the feed previously mentioned is received by them through that Amazon Marketplace Web Services API.
Once you get to the Box Content portion of the workflow for your batch where you can assign your items to boxes and transmit that information to Amazon successfully, this error message should update so you can move on with the shipment in Seller Central.

2. Box Content was sent but Amazon returned an error.
After transmitting box content information to Seller Central, you will see a green Success message in Stratify when the feed has been processed successfully.
If you do not receive this message for a shipment, your box content information has not yet been accepted by Amazon.
If Stratify presents an error to you instead of the Success message, it is crucial that you correct the error and transmit the updated box content information while your shipment is still in "Working" status so that your data can be accepted and successfully received by Amazon.
The errors will appear usually within 60 seconds from the time you click the Transmit Boxes or Transmit All Boxes to Seller Central button on the Box Content page of your workflow and will pop up on your screen.
You can also view these errors by clicking on the List tab and selecting Amazon Listing Errors from the dropdown box.
The find the related error and click the i under the Action column for additional information
Note: The Amazon List Errors page saves your errors for the last 30 days unless the x button to the far right of the error is clicked or the Reset button in the top right is clicked.
Once you have found the MSKU(s) that are causing the trouble, navigate to the List>List & Prep page. Under Working Shipments, click the 3 horizontal lines to the right of the shipment you need to edit and select Box Content Information.
Below are some errors that you may run into with links to their solutions:
After correcting the issue the transmitting the updated box content information, be sure to wait for the green Success message before heading back over to Seller Central.
Once the feeds are successful, you'll only see this message:
This message is informing you that you chose to use the MWS to provide your box content information, so you cannot choose any of the other box content options in Seller Central.
At this point, you will also notice that the "Total # of boxes" field on this shipment page is automatically filled in, and you will be able to enter your box weights and dimensions if they were not already entered in Stratify.
