Inbound shipping is the cost of product shipments to Amazon for the FBA program. These fees are often paid through your Amazon account and will be automatically imported into the Inbound Shipping page under Accounting>Inbound Shipping.
This page has the following sortable columns:
• Batch Name
• Shipment Arrival Date
• Shipment ID
• Shipment Cost
• Box Cost
• Other Cost
You can use the Advanced Search button to view your shipments within a set timeframe, or a custom date range. You can export the view that you select.
The shipment ID is a clickable link that will generate the packing list PDF for that shipment if you chose to provide box contents information through InventoryLab. This will provide the items in each box of the shipment.
If you did not pay for your inbound shipping through Amazon, you can manually enter the costs in under "Shipment Cost". Additionally, you can enter in your "Box Cost" and any "Other Cost" associated with the shipment that is not automatically captured. To do this, click on the amount under any of the column headings and they will become editable.
When you're finished, click the Save button. The totals will reflect in the Expenses section of your Profit & Loss statement.
