If you have income you want to track that is not automatically imported from Amazon, you can add it under Accounting > Other Income. Many users sell on additional platforms (eBay, Etsy, etc) and track their income on this page.
The page will display the following sortable columns:
- Name
- Category
- Amount
- Date
- Description
You can use the Advanced Search button to view your income transactions within a set timeframe, or a custom date range. You can export the view that you select.
To begin adding transactions, click the Add button. You'll be able to enter in information for the above columns.
NOTE: Only 50 characters are allowed in the “Name” field. You must keep it below this length to be able to save the transaction.
You can set up your other income categories by following these steps, or you can add to the categories as you create the Other Income transaction by entering a new one in the Category field. If the category doesn't exist, an Add button will appear to the right of the category. Click on the it to add it to your category list.
Category and Name have 50-character limits.
Once you fill out the remaining information, click the Save button.
This will be displayed as a stand alone transaction on the Accounting>Other Income page and will show up in the Reports>Profit and Loss under that category.
If you would like to add other income transactions in bulk, follow the steps in this article.
