Notifications are available to alert you of reminders you have set and any system related updates of any important issues or concerns that may affect your use of InventoryLab.
You will see a red numeric flag by the mail icon in the upper right of the page. It will be next to the volume icon.
Clicking on the mail icon will take you to your notifications.
Here is an example of the Notifications page. By clicking on the empty star, it moves the notification to the top of the list and identifies it as Important
Reminders
While listing, you can set a reminder date for any of your items with a memo. You can then be notified about those reminders on the date you set. For example, if I have an item expiring 12/1/19, and I set a reminder while I list for 10/1/19 with the memo expires in 60 days, sell or destroy then on 10/1/19 I will be notified by InventoryLab under the notifications tool which is located at the top of the screen next to settings.
This image shows where to input reminders.
Managing Reminders
Reminders can be managed in the Inventory tab. You will need to click the Management view (as opposed to accounting) to add, edit or delete reminders to any MSKU you wish from that view.
Setting up Email Notifications
You can also set up email notifications by going to Settings>Notification Settings and click the check box.
InventoryLab Update Notifications
You’ll also see any system related updates our awesome team has provided to alert you of any important issues or concerns that may affect your use of InventoryLab.
This section is where InventoryLab will communicate important messages to you.
To see them, click on the Updates option on the left.
All Notifications
If you’re brave, you could always view them all together!
Go on, you know you want to…click on All Notifications.
Reminders and Updates are color coded to make viewing easier and we’ve even listed them in order by date (most recent to older).
Delete Notifications
Cleaning these up is a piece of cake.
You can do so one-by-one by clicking on the Delete option below the notification you want to remove. Once you confirm your decision, it slides right off the page.
If you want to delete in bulk, click the checkbox next to the notifications you would like to delete and click Delete Selected Notification(s).
