Scanning Box Contents
To streamline sorting your items into boxes and providing box-level content to Amazon, you can scan the FNSKU or manufacturer barcode on each item. This can be done using a USB or Bluetooth scanner.
1. To begin, click on the box you would like to start scanning items into and select Scan.
a. The scanning system starts automatically once you select Scan. You’ll see a message indicating that the system is now listening for items and waiting for you to begin scanning.
2. Scan your items to assign them to boxes. Once you are finished scanning, you can move on to the next box.
b. Once you scan your item, you will see that a quantity of 1 has been added to your box. As you scan more of the same item, the quantity will increase.
If you want to scan and then edit the quantity in the box, you can click the quantity text box to do so.
3. To add a new box, click + New Box.
What's Next?
Once you've finished assigning all the items in a shipment to boxes, the next step is to enter the weight and dimensions of each box:
BETA - Enter Box Weight and Dimensions Using InventoryLab's Box Content Process (Video)
Once that's done, click Next: Ship It to submit your box contents to Amazon. Instructions on what to do next will appear on-screen.
