Not sure if you're restricted from selling products you're considering purchasing or if it is an Ideal Buy? Let InventoryLab and Scoutify check for you automatically by turning on the Product Alert options in your Settings!
Note: Ideal Buy Settings between InventoryLab and Scoutify are linked, meaning any changes made to these settings in InventoryLab will also reflect in Scoutify, and vice-versa.
Expiration date Product Alerts cannot be turned off at this time.
To manage these settings, click your Account Name and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Click General from the left menu.
Next, scroll to the Product Alerts section.
Check For Amazon Restrictions
Note: The intention of the Amazon Restrictions alert is to show you Seller-related restrictions for products, such as category, brand, or condition restrictions.
Click the toggle next to Check for Amazon Restrictions to turn this option On or Off.
With this setting turned On, you can select which conditions you want InventoryLab to check restrictions for by clicking the checkboxes next to them.
The product conditions available to choose from are:
• New
• Used Like New
• Used Very Good
• Used Good
• Used Acceptable
• Collectible Like New
• Collectible Very Good
• Collectible Good
• Collectible Acceptable
• Refurbished
When searching for products in Scout and List, you will see an Amazon Restricted Alert next to a product if you are restricted from selling it in a condition you have set up in these settings.
In Scout, the alert will appear as shown below:
In List, the alert will show like this:
You will also see the Amazon Restricted Alert after clicking on a product to view its information.
In Scout, the alert will appear as shown below:

Clicking View Product Alerts and expanding the Amazon Restrictions section will show you what conditions you are allowed to sell the product in as well as what conditions you are restricted from selling it in.
If Amazon is accepting applications to sell the product, you will see a Request Approval in Seller Central link under the Restricted Conditions section.
Clicking this will open a new tab in your browser where you can sign in to Seller Central and complete the steps to request approval.
If Amazon is not accepting applications to sell the product, you will see a note saying that Amazon is not currently accepting applications to sell this ASIN under the Restricted Conditions section instead.
Check for Ideal Buy
Click the toggle next to Ideal Buy to turn this option On or Off.
You can set your properties to only identify an Ideal Buy when Amazon isn't the seller and/or if the item has a Great Rank and enter a maximum Number of Offers you would want an item to have in order to be considered an Ideal Buy under Settings>Research.
When an item in the search results in Scout or List meets the requirements you set, you will see a green Ideal Buy indicator.
In Scout, the alert will appear as shown below:

You will also see the Ideal Buy indicator after clicking on a product to view its information.

Clicking View Product Alerts will show you the qualifications the product meets in order to be considered an Ideal Buy.
Check For Hazmat
InventoryLab automatically checks if an item is hazmat (dangerous goods) for you. There is currently no setting to turn this Off. You will see an alert that an item is considered hazmat regardless of whether you are enrolled in the FBA Dangerous Goods program or not.
You will see the Hazmat Alert after clicking on a product to view its information if Amazon has classified it as a dangerous good.
In Scout, the alert will appear as shown below:
In List, the alert will show like this:
Clicking View Product Alerts and expanding the Hazmat section will show a message saying that the item is considered hazmat by Amazon or that it is under hazmat review.
Expiration Date Product Alert
Note: The Expiration Date alert is only visible after clicking on a product to view its information in List. It will not show in the results list when searching for items.
Expiration date Product Alerts cannot be turned off in Settings at this time.
While listing, InventoryLab will automatically check if the item you are adding to your batch requires an expiration date. If it does, you will see an expiration date Product Alert.
Clicking View Product Alerts will show a message stating that Amazon has indicated that an expiration date is required for the ASIN.
When entering your listing details, you will also see a message saying the item requires an expiration date in the Expiration field.
